How many stomachs does a cow have?

  5. My husband would know - he was raised on a farm. Me, I'm a city girl gone country... I have no idea about cow's stomachs.

Actually, I have a vague remembrance of learning that a cow has 4 stomachs, but wasn't absolutely sure!

    Great question!

  11. My mom knows this, because the university she attended had a huge agricultural faculty. One stomach with four compartments.

Thank you for telling us about your experience with Turnip and the food. It is looking like I might be sensitive to chicken. I seem to be doing better on the duck food, so we'll keep our paws and fingers crossed that I continue to do well on it.
