Amy Planted a Garden Today

Four Brandywine heirloom tomato plants. She uses planters because the soil here is very thin, rocky and we are on ledge of Barton Mountain.

Cat grass. Why? I have an acre of grass alone. Maybe more if you count the small field in back!

And she got me these dianthus plants for my ancient wrought iron kettle that I use as a planter. There are pansies still growing here that I planted two years ago.

I find this dianthus plant very interesting.

  1. I like Amy's garden. Ours is in window boxes! We can move the plants with the sun, which is important in our shady little corner. May the garden be abundant!
