Spring

Late summer

The woods are full of cherries now — all ready for the bears before they hibernate and for other creatures. The cherries glow a deep red in the autumn sun.

  2. Those cherries sure look like what we call choke cherries.
They make good wine, jelly, and syrup but to eat off the bush is a complete different story.

If you have time stop by mine is up and the coffee is on.

  3. Great choice. I love the way wild cherries look in blossom. So much that my backyard is being over taken with them which suits me.

  4. How beautiful. Our cherries are black, but they aren't wild...we don't have brown bears to eat them, only the birds, possums, fruitbats, etc, etc.
