While in New Haven in October, Anna, Aaron, Aaron's mom and I went to the Pacifico Restaurant for dinner. It didn't seem to be as good as it was three years ago, but it was lots of fun going out together! We took the photos with a cell phone. Above: Talapia al Sarten con Croquetas de Alcachofa: Pan seared tilapia with yucca crust served with artichoke, potato and manchego cakes in basil and yellow tomato coulis.
This is what I ordered: Camarones y Vieras con Raviolis de Frijol Negro: Seared sea scallops and shrimp in a chipotle, honey chardonnay sauce with Monterey Jack and black bean ravioli.
Salmon al Sarten: Pan seared Chilean salmon in plantain crust with shrimp and asparagus
enchiladas and yellow tomato coulis.
Atun a la Parrilla: Grilled Yellow Fin Tuna with red quinoa, arugula, sweet plantain and shiitake mushroom tabbouleh salad and saffron, basil mojito sauce.
The appetizers we shared: Quesadilla de Langosta y Aguacate: Lobster and avocado quesadilla with chipotle crème fraiche alioli.
And dessert? Columbian Dark Chocolate Cake. We had to order extra because I don't share.
